13.00 – 13.20 Klas Nilsson, Cognibotics and Maj Stenmark, Faculty of Engineering, LTH
Klas Nilsson, a researcher in productive robotics and leader of the Robotics and Semantic Systems in Computer Science at LTH, has, together with five research colleagues, developed a new technology that leads to increased accuracy in industrial robots.
Maj Stenmark, a PhD at the Institution of Computer Science, is developing user-friendly programming methods and tools. The user can instruct the robot using kinaesthetic teaching (manually guiding the robot), natural language commands and high-level instructions about objects and actions.
13.30 – 13.50 Per Sikö, Jayway – An overview of Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence is mentioned just about everywhere but what is it and how can you benefit from it? This presentation will explain the fundamental concepts, talk about the state of AI today and end with a glimpse of the future and what to expect in terms of selfe driving cars, brain implants and super humans.

Machine Learning is on everybody’s mind right now, but as powerful as it may be, it’s also surrounded by a lot of myths and misconceptions. In this presentation, we’ll take a closer look at what Machine Learning really is, the types of problems it can help us solve, and the different steps involved in a typical Machine Learning setup.
