Who saves the planet? – Creating the Future at Ideon
June 1 @ 10:10 - 12:10Free
Who saves the planet? My contribution to the sustainable society
Moderated by Maria Sätherström, WIN Water. This will be a discussion on how innovations can contribute to a more sustainable society.
William Håkansson and Robert Schmitt, Vultus
Vultus use a combination of weather data, drones and satellite data, which is then analysed using machine learning. Nitrogen optimization is a step in their goal of creating efficient data-driven agriculture where plant protection is spread efficiently and damage is minimized.
Sara Sterner, Orbital Systems
Based on founder Mehrdad Mahdjoubi’s work with the NASA Mars missions, Orbital Systems technology lets people use all the water they want without wasting any of it. Their first application of the technology is in the OAS shower, because the legacy shower uses more water and energy inefficiently than any other non-industrial use.
