Last week teams from Ideon Science Park and SAP (Sony Acceleration Program) got together for the 2 days Dadlihack event held in Lund. The event was held in parallel with a Hackathon on Antigua, organised by UNOPS innovation hub in Antigua & Barbuda for disaster relief.

Live presentations from the authorities in Antigua-Barbuda were held to give the teams deep understanding for the problem this region is facing due to climate change. Followed by brainstorming and workshops for ideation, solution and business potential. All the way to creation of a pitch video!
Here’s a thank you video from Antigua!

Antigua is still suffering from the effects of Hurricane Irma which struck the island in 2017. In January 2018 the first UN hackathon was held on Antigua – Learn more about the 2018 event here.

UNOPS helps the UN and its partners provide peace and security, humanitarian and development solutions. Our mission is to help people build better lives and countries achieve peace and sustainable development. Learn more about UNOPS.
