Anna Palmehag is an analyst and reporter at the Danish-Swedish knowledge center Øresundsinstituttet. Among other things she has looked into how “mental border barriers” in the Øresund region can cause entrepreneurs to refrain from investing in Denmark or working cross-border – and sometimes not even come up with the idea. Knowledge about what to expect and how to proceed seems to be an important factor for those who go for it.
