Delivering patient centric care through digital transformation in MedTech 

Medicon Valley Alliance Medtech Network is hosting a digital network meeting on the theme of digital transformation in the Medtech industry with focus on patient centric care by highlighting some recent developments within the field in the Öresund region.

Medicon Valley feature world class healthcare and research institutions, highly skilled hardware and software expertise, a thriving game industry and a strong startup scene driving the digital transformation in healthcare. MedTech companies are playing an important role by providing better tools with patients’ needs in focus and supporting the successful transformation in the healthcare systems. New solutions such as digital therapeutics, remote monitoring, AI and algorithm based diagnostics, data analytics as well as patient and user reported outcomes in focus are revolutionizing healthcare. Covid-19 has further accelerated digital transformation in healthcare, in particular for remote consultation but also enhanced the focus for remote diagnostics, treatment and monitoring.

This online network meeting will highlight some of the current development in digital transformation in the MedTech industry and give a few examples of successful companies from the region with focus on patient centric care.
