Julgiven i Lund – Christmas of 2024

Help us bring the spirit of Christmas to those in our city facing exceptional challenges!

This year, Ideon Science Park is supporting Julgiven i Lund (Christmas Charity in Lund), and all Ideon companies are invited to join in.

Julgiven is hoping that each company will contribute 1,500 SEK to make a festive celebration possible for those in need in our community.

Even smaller personal donations will be deeply appreciated, and together, we can make a meaningful difference!

As a thank you, your company will receive a commemorative diploma, serving as both a memento and inspiration to others.

What is JULGIVEN in Lund?

Julgiven in Lund was founded during the Covid pandemic in 2020. With many restaurants in Lund at risk of closing, restaurant owner Åsa Lovén took the initiative to gather donations to help restaurants continue cooking meals, which were then donated to those in need.

This initiative gained recognition and appreciation, leading to the formation of the Julgiven Association. This year, Julgiven will raise funds for seven charitable causes and organizations:

• Fontänhuset i Lund – Supporting mental health
• Kvinnojouren i Lund – Supporting women in crisis
• Maskrosbarn – Supporting children with parents struggling with addiction
• Härbärget på Klostergården – Supporting the homeless in Lund
• RSMH – National Association for Social and Mental Health
• Interkultur – Promoting integration, sports, and education
• Vänskapens Hus – Combating loneliness and addiction
• Wall of Kindness – Supporting the economically disadvantaged in society
