Participants discussed collaboration between primes, startups, SMEs, and governments and identified several success factors:
- Long-term strategic partnerships.
- Clear leadership and shared objectives.
- Earlier involvement of the right stakeholders.
- Better management of IP and trust.
Participants also stressed that successful collaboration requires understanding operational problems before designing technical solutions.
Strong partnerships are built around shared challenges, not simply shared technologies.
