Phase 1
Match, Map & Mobilize
Goal: To build the foundation and direction
Amyna starts fast with each team being matched with mentors and experts selected for your technology, business needs, and market potential. During the first weeks you will:
- Present your solution to defense end users, authorities, and industry representatives
- Gain early insights that help shape your path
- Map strengths and challenges across technology, funding, operations, and market readiness
- Co-create a six-month acceleration plan tailored to your needs
- Take part in a security & risk workshop to integrate defense-grade security thinking from day one
You will receive early validation, insights, and real feedback on where and how your technology fits
Phase 2
Build, Test & Validate
Goal: Turn insights into action
This is where you develop, test, and prove your technology in real or simulated environments. Throughout this phase you will:
- Build or refine your prototype
- Validate your assumptions and technical claims
- Test your solution in labs, testbeds, and field environments
- Navigate requirements in both civilian and defense markets
- Strengthen your go-to-market strategy
You will receive ongoing support from coaches, mentors, and partners
Phase 3
Get Market Ready
Goal: Prepare to launch and scale
The final phase focuses on preparing your company for market entry, investment, partnerships, and long-term growth. You will:
- Refine strategies around procurement, financing, export, and security classification
- Prepare investor-ready materials and your scaling plan
- Engage with key defense and industry stakeholders
- Finalize the steps needed to enter the Swedish and international defense innovation ecosystem

Daniel Persson
Head of Amyna
With a background as an officer in the Swedish Armed Forces, Daniel has a strong foundation in operational leadership and decision-making under uncertainty. He later co-founded Min Doktor and served as CEO of the startup incubator Minc, experiences that strengthened his expertise in mission-driven innovation at the intersection of security, technology, and strategic leadership.
Johan Vaernholt
Head of Business Development
Johan combines experience as a career officer in the Swedish Armed Forces with business development expertise. His army background provides operational insight into security and dual-use applications, while his role at Ideon Science Park adds strong competence in commercialization and industry collaboration. This dual ability helps translate research into real-world solutions and strengthens the cluster’s global competitiveness.
Leonie Blum
Business Development
As manager of ESA BIC Sweden at Ideon Science Park, Leonie works at the forefront of New Space and dual-use innovation. She supports startups using space technologies and data for both civilian and defense applications, helping them access funding, international networks, and technical expertise. With background in business development and innovation ecosystems, she connects space entrepreneurship with Sweden’s defense and security landscape.
