19 companies, two intense days, and one shared mission: accelerating defense and dual-use innovation. And one very special highlight.
This week, the startups and companies in the Amyna Accelerate program gathered at Ideon Science Park to explore how promising technologies can move from ideas to real-world testing, integration, and operational use. The session focused on how to take technology from a promising solution to something that can actually be tested, integrated, and used in real-world environments.
We also continued building relationships between the companies in the program and stakeholders within defence, civil defense, and applied research.
Together with experts from RISE, WARA-PS, and the Swedish Civil Defense Agency, we explored test environments, innovation infrastructure, collaboration opportunities, and the realities of navigating the defense sector.
We also heard valuable founder perspectives from companies already building within defense and security. Elias Mibesjö (Flexotrap) and Sebastian Merlöw (Sweden Dynamics) shared their experiences of advancing within the defense and security sector, including the challenges they faced and the lessons they learned along the way.
A special highlight was the opportunity to meet the Swedish Minister for Defense, Pål Jonson, and listen to the AMYNA Accelerate companies share what they are building and developing.
