The Swedish Army is undergoing a massive transformation. Digital development is not “nice-to-have” – it is the backbone of future defense.

At this hackathon, you will:

• Build for real: Solve problems identified by the 7th mechanized brigade.
• Get the chance to have your idea trialed in the Armed Forces’ digital experiments already this fall.

The mission
Hack for the future of the Swedish Armed Forces’ command systems. Work on the open platform for military management.

Create ideas, prototypes, plugins, or demos that demonstrate what’s possible – and inspire further development.

Focus areas
A classic “warfighting function” to play with:

• Command & Control (C2): How can we plan, lead, and sync operations in real time?

When: October 21 – breakfast from 08:30, hacking 09:00–21:00
Where: The Tech Hub, Alfahuset 3, Ideon Science Park
Food, fika, coffee: Included during the day

The winning team will receive a reward and also be recognized for their achievement across our social media channels. We believe in celebrating innovation and giving visibility to the brilliant minds behind the solutions.

Background checks
To ensure a safe and fair event, we will conduct random background checks among registered participants.

These checks will be conducted after registration and before the start of the hackathon. The process is designed to be discreet and respectful, while helping us create a secure environment for all participants.
