Today, Amyna joined Totalförsvarsexpo 2026 in Lund, together with three companies from Amyna Accelerate: Eira Systems, Valkyr Defense Systems and Sweden Dynamics.
Hosted by Lunds Akademiska Officerssällskap (LAOS), the day brought together actors from across Sweden’s total defence – right in the heart of Lund.
One of the highlights was the panel Om kriget eller krisen kommer, bringing together perspectives from national, regional, military and municipal levels: Mikael Frisell, Director General of the Swedish Civil Defence Agency; Colonel Anders Malm, Swedish Armed Forces; Peter Danielsson, Governor of Skåne County; and Anders Almgren, Chairman of Lund’s Municipal Executive Board.
A message from Mikael Frisell particularly stayed with us: time is one of our most critical resources.
Sweden has strengthened its total defence considerably over the past decade. But at the same time, the security environment has become more demanding. Hybrid threats, cyberattacks and influence operations mean that preparedness cannot remain a plan on paper. It has to become real capability – in our municipalities, authorities, infrastructure, businesses and organisations.
And increasingly, civil and military defence need to work as one system.
The joint Utgångspunkter för totalförsvaret 2025–2030 provides a common framework for exactly this, setting out seven situations that Sweden needs to be prepared to meet and giving actors across society a basis for turning preparedness into concrete action.
For us at Amyna this resonates strongly with what we are trying to build: bringing needs, technology and people closer together – and helping innovative companies become part of Sweden’s and the Nordics’ future defence capability.
Because resilience isn’t built by one actor. It is built together – and it is built before we need it.
