Congratulations to Valkyr Defense Systems, part of the first cohort of Amyna Accelerate, on raising more than SEK 4 million in new investment just before summer holidays.
Valkyr develops autonomous counter-drone technology for close-range defense, with a focus on modular solutions, Swedish manufacturing and both defense and dual-use applications.
The round brings together investors from Sweden and Denmark, including I Love Lund and business angels from the Danish Keystones network.
In September, Valkyr plans to launch a new funding round, raising enough funds to bring the product to market next year.
For us at Amyna, founded by Ideon Science Park, this is exactly the kind of development we want to help enable: connecting promising defense innovators with the capital, industry partners and Nordic networks they need to move forward.
