The 13th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering Design of Synchrotron Radiation Equipment and Instrumentation (MEDSI2025), is set to take place in the historic city of Lund, Sweden. Hosted by MAX IV Laboratory, the conference will run from September 15th to 19th, 2025.
The International Conference on Mechanical Engineering Design of Synchrotron Radiation Equipment and Instrumentation (MEDSI) is a prominent biennial event that gathers experts and stakeholders involved in the development and engineering of synchrotron radiation and free-electron laser light sources.
The five-day program will feature a variety of invited and contributed talks, poster sessions, and industrial exhibitions. We will cover key topics such as storage rings, beamlines, optics, end-station instrumentation, and key advancements in technology areas like vacuum, cryogenics, and precision mechanics.
