Funding Opportunities:
Digital Europe (DIGITAL) is allocating €390 million from 2025–2027 to strengthen the EU’s digital resilience. Focus areas include AI services, support for SMEs, and pilot projects in healthcare.
Horizon Europe (HEP) has a €90 million budget in 2025 for cybersecurity projects. Requires consortia with at least two countries and collaboration between academia, suppliers, and end-users.
Vinnova is investing in civil-military innovation and advanced digitalization within industrial technology. Here, SMEs can receive support for developing and verifying solutions focused on NATO’s prioritized technology areas.
MSB is launching a new support program for cybersecurity projects, offering up to 2 million SEK, with no requirement for partnerships. Any legal entity registered with the Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket) can apply.
Sweden ranks low in the number of applications for these programs compared to other European countries. Now is the time to change that!
