A couple of weeks ago Ideon was invited to DVel’s 10th anniversary party at Ideon Gateway! The night consisted of great speeches, networking, delicious food and drinks.
DVel was founded in 2012 by Riki Virc, Martin Peeker and Karin Hellqvist. DVel grew out of a desire to create a company of extremely knowledgeable consultants, thus providing the market with a stable and competent provider of specialists in test and measurement systems.
How have the first 10 years been for DVel?
– A lot has happened these 10 years. We have evolved and learned a lot along the way, finding a lot of strength in getting good at recruiting engineers and PhDs at, for example, LTH for the right skills.
Karin Hellqvist, COO
– The coolest thing has been working with Martin and Karin, with whom I started the company. We had a plan that we would grow and if you have a dream, a plan, a thought, everything goes well even if things happen along the way that are unforeseen. Now that we’ve grown, we’ve brought in new and skilled employees. Do you feel the feeling in here, at the party? Our employees are incredibly talented people that we have and we get a lot of help from them. The people are a big contributing factor with our success. We have a very good dynamic in the company and understand each other, everyone in the company really wants the best for our business.

What does the next 10 years look like?
– We have plans, and good discussions in our board. 8 years ago we decided that the financial, social and environmental impact is something that should be taken into account in all the decisions we make. We have always had very high ambitions. Martin, Karin and I are very concerned about everyone’s well-being, both in terms of the environment and our employees.

– We are preparing our future growth, we now have 25 employees and intend to grow and help more customers. We want to include the sustainability work that we already do, more clearly into our business strategyand get even better at it.
