January 30, 2019

Next week, the project Lighting Metropolis will be taking over our Instagram to show us who they are and what they do. So wee took the opportunity to talk to Maria Edgren from Innovation Skåne to find out more!

Hi Maria, can you tell me a bit about your project?

Our project Lighting Metropolis – Green Economy launches 1st of February with the aim to save energy. The new lighting project will implement qualitative and energy-saving LEDs, and thereby further consolidating Greater Copenhagen as a leading metropolis of sustainable lighting solutions. The project is financed by EU / Interreg ÖKS.

Who is working in the project?

It is me, Maria Edgren, and Fredrik Malmberg and we are both employed by Innovation Skåne. The secretariat for Lighting Metropolis is shared by Gate 21 in Denmark and Innovation Skåne in Sweden.

You have a few demonstration projects, are there any in the Lund region that I can see?

Yes, there actually are some to visit and we’ll show you some of them next week. So you’ve got to follow us next week ?.

What will you be showing us next week on Instagram?

We’ll introduce you to lighting, Innovation Skåne, our demoprojects in Lund, the kickoff for our new project and much more. See you next week!
