To strengthen capital flows to fast-growing companies in southern Sweden, Skåne Capital Day is being organized – an investor event where eight selected companies will have the opportunity to pitch to a group of investors.
The initiative is led by Ideon Science Park (this time hosting), HETCH, Minc, and Krinova, with the ambition of creating a clearer meeting place between capital and companies in the region.
There is strong innovation capacity in Skåne, but access to capital remains a challenge for many companies. With Skåne Capital Day, we want to shorten the distance between investors and entrepreneurs,” says Truls Bretz, Senior Business Developer at Ideon Science Park.
During the day, eight companies from tech and food/tech will present their business ideas and growth plans to an audience of regional investors. The aim is to create concrete investment dialogues and, in the long term, contribute to more deals.
The participating companies are at a stage where they are seeking capital and have been selected based on growth potential and level of innovation.
We are seeing increased interest from investors in finding the next growth case outside the major metropolitan regions. Skåne has all the right conditions – now it is about making these companies visible and enabling more investments here, says Truls Bretz.
Skåne Capital Day is part of a broader effort to strengthen the regional investor ecosystem and retain more growth companies in southern Sweden.
Dapibuset

Drawing on operational experience, the company is building HILDR — a short-range system for the final critical seconds when traditional solutions are not sufficient.
Re:notch
