This week the Moroccan Ambassador, Karim Medrek, and Minister Counsellor Fatima Fertat, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco, in Stockholm visited Ideon Science Park to learn and to share. Karim Medrek shared the status of tech development in Morocco. Morocco holds among other things The Technopark which is the home to some 300 Moroccan start-ups and SMEs and 2,500 employees. Many entrepreneurs are young, the average age is less than 30. The Technopark is responsible for more than 10% of the national ICT turnover (excluding telecom) and has a natural turnover of more than 60 new starts up each year.
