A major milestone for Ideon Science Park-based NordAmps, which have announced its intention to list on Nasdaq First North Growth Market.
Founded in 2017 and built on more than two decades of nanoelectronics research at Lund University, NordAmps is developing semiconductor technology for the next generation of high-performance communication systems.
At the heart of the company is a proprietary vertical nanowire transistor technology that combines high-performance III-V semiconductor materials with standardized silicon substrates – with applications spanning satellite communications, telecom infrastructure, 5G/6G, defense, radar and advanced sensing.
The planned IPO is intended to raise approximately SEK 75 million to support the next phase of NordAmps’ journey: industrialization, customer projects and continued commercialization. The first day of trading is expected to be 30 September 2026.
For us at Ideon, this is also a great example of what deep tech is all about: world-class research translated into technology, technology into a company, and a company taking the steps needed to compete in a global market.
Congratulations to Jan Andersson and the NordAmps team on reaching an important milestone. We look forward to following the next chapter!
