The Tech Hub Breakfast – Huawei: What is HarmonyOS
Join us for a Tech Hub Breakfast exploring HarmonyOS, Huawei’s very own operating system, and how it is shaping the future of connected technology.
Few people know that Huawei has developed its own operating system. Unlike traditional, heavyweight software, HarmonyOS is built from small, energy-efficient digital building blocks, making it fast, secure, and highly flexible. But what does this mean in practice, and how can one operating system support such a wide range of connected devices?
In this breakfast seminar, we will explore how HarmonyOS powers everything from smartphones, smartwatches, and PCs to routers, cars, and smart home devices. With more than 10 million developers, a leading position in the smartwatch market, and over one million connected vehicles, HarmonyOS is part of a rapidly growing technology ecosystem.
We will be joined by Simon Ekstrand, Lab Director and Chief Expert in User-Centered Design at Huawei in Lund. With extensive experience in user experience and technology innovation, Simon will share insights into HarmonyOS and how Huawei is shaping the way people interact with technology in future digital products.
We hope to see you there!
