Information about the E22, Road 108 and Scheelevägen Project
Full Road Closures on E22 and Road 108 Soon
As part of the ongoing road project on the E22 at the Lund Södra interchange and Road 108 between Staffanstorp and Lund, we will implement planned total closures during 2025–2026.

E22
During the weekend of May 23–26, the E22 will be completely closed between Kronetorp N interchange and Gastelyckan interchange.
Road 108 (Staffanstorp–Lund)
Starting May 23, Road 108 between Staffanstorp and Lund will be closed for four months.
After that, the road will reopen in the westbound direction towards Lund for six months.
Scheelevägen
Starting March 2025, Scheelevägen (south of Ideongatan) will be closed for through traffic until summer 2026 due to reconstruction and a new traffic connection to E22.
Vehicle traffic will be rerouted via Sångarevägen
Pedestrians & cyclists should follow alternative nearby paths
Access to Parking
Access to the parking lot at Beta is closed off from Scheelevägen, but is accessible through the south entrance on Ole Römers Väg marked in blue on the map. Access to Scheelevägen 16-20 is not affected. Diversion routes will be posted on site. The Alfa building parking lot will not be affected.
Project Timeline
Friday, May 23 – Monday, May 26, 2025
– Total closure of E22 between Kronetorp N interchange and Gastelyckan interchange.
May 23 – End of September 2025
– Total closure of Road 108 between Lund Södra and Staffanstorp.
End of September 2025
– Road 108 reopens for traffic towards Lund, but remains closed towards Staffanstorp for another six months.
Summer 2026
– Reconstruction of Road 108 between Staffanstorp and Lund is expected to be completed.

Why is This Project Being Carried Out?
To improve traffic safety and flow, we are reconstructing the Lund Södra interchange and widening Road 108 between Staffanstorp and Lund into a 2+2 lane road with a central barrier.
