The Göran Bredinger Scholarship 2026
The Göran Bredinger Scholarship recognizes young social entrepreneurs who develop innovative solutions to societal challenges. The grant is worth 50,000 Swedish kronor and is awarded annually in collaboration between Forum for Social Innovation Sweden and Göran Bredinger. The initiative aims to strengthen social innovations with the potential to create social value and long-term sustainability. This year’s application period runs from May 27 to September 30.

Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the Göran Bredinger Scholarship, applicants must:
- help address a clear societal challenge
- be driven by results for society
- have an innovative and feasible business idea
- demonstrate a financially sustainable and growth-oriented business model
- be able to demonstrate good results
- operate in Sweden
- be in the early stages
- be between 20 and 30 years old
The Jury
The jury consists of representatives from the business community, the public sector, and academia:
- Göran Bredinger, founder and CEO of the scholarship, Dieden Group AB
- Lotta Orban, Team and Project Manager, Forum for Social Innovation Sweden
- Hanna Sigsjö, Development Strategist, City of Lund
- Åsa Skogström Feldt, Managing Director, IKEA Social Entrepreneurship BV
- Anders Norman, former CEO, ALMI Skåne
- Nicklas Wallberg, Founder, Common Interest
