Energize!: Energy innovation meets collaboration.

December 5, 2024

energizeLast week, we hosted one in a series of several energy networking breakfasts, supported and powered by the Swedish Energy Agency. The breakfast seminar series – ‘Energize!’ – gathers energy professionals who get to explore energy solutions created by start-ups.

Hamoun Ashrafzadeh, Greenmoral, and Maximilian Deiters, Zerotude, took the stage to present their innovative ideas advancing the green transition within real estate.

Green Moral, located at HETCH, Helsingborg, creates sustainable and energy-efficient lighting solutions. Green Moral wants to help customers replace traditional lighting systems with energy-saving ones, by leveraging AI. These can be LED tubes that help reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.

green moralGreen Moral’s mission is to encourage organizations to reduce waste, avoid the disposal of toxic materials, and give back to nature. They want to see a greener future and support biodiversity. Leading by example, the team plants trees, too.

Zerotude, Ideon Science Park, Lund, has developed a software solution for managing property portfolio renovations. The team wants to help property owners meet EU energy efficiency standards, such as the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). Zerotude offers tools for creating 3D models of entire property portfolios.

These models help analyze and prioritize renovation needs and give insights into cost-effective upgrades. The aim is to help property owners plan and optimize their budgets for achieving green building certifications.

**//**About ‘Energize!’**//**

‘Energize!’ is a breakfast seminar series for energy professionals — energy and climate tech innovators, experts, and companies — to connect to shape a sustainable future. Swedish Energy Agency funds as part of its initiative to push the green transition forward.

Ideon Science Park and Lund University collaborate to host the series.

“We invite innovators, established large and mid-sized enterprises that are looking for opportunities to collaborate”, says Sara Egidius, Incubator Manager at Ideon Science Park.

“We also invite our fellow regional ecosystem players, Almi Skåne, Minc, Malmö University, HETCH, Krinova Incubator & Science Park, and others.

To boost collaboration, startups pitch their ideas to get constructive feedback from participants.

Larger companies get a chance to be inspired, discover new solutions and find opportunities for new collaborations.

“We hope to see tangible partnerships leading to new innovative projects and investments and ideas catalyzed into action”, says Sara Egidius.

Supported and funded by Swedish Energy Agency — Energize!—- is a hub where energy innovation meets collaboration.
