What is the biggest challenge for Swedish tech companies when it comes to cybersecurity today?

Swedish companies lack the expertise to understand how to handle the rapidly increasing complexity of our technology so that our security initiatives are sufficient.

Your company, Unbreached, just launched the ‘Threat Prevention Center’, a security center designed to help SMEs gain control over their digital security. What’s the idea?

Security shouldn’t be a luxury item, either financially or in terms of expertise. Our security products are too expensive, far too complicated, and simply not tailored to all businesses. That’s why we want to give all companies—regardless of size or budget—the same opportunity to be secure. Especially now, with new laws and regulations imposing additional requirements. Our service is designed to provide the same level of information security, regardless of size, revenue, or technical expertise.

You are participating in the conference ‘Security for the Future’ on 24/10, which focuses on how we protect Swedish innovation and competitiveness, along with organizations like SÄPO. Why is it important for you to be involved?

We need to understand the consequences of digital transformation, which can actually make us more vulnerable rather than more secure. We must look back at history and analyze how we, as humans, have adopted the technology that we now have to live with in order to move forward in this increasingly digital world. The human aspect of IT security is often considered the weakest link in an organization.
